Ben van den Dungen Quartet @ The Northsea Jazzfestival 2014
Saturday the 12th of July the Ben van den Dungen Quartet will perform in the Madeira hall on The Northsea jazzfestival. The concert starts round midnight at 24.00 hour.

New York Round midnight is a mesmerizing musical program in a ‘New York club in the night’ atmosphere. You descend into a Jazzclub. Slowly the rumor quietens and the musicians enter the stage. From that moment on you are led by the compelling stories and the smoky atmosphere of a sleepless New York City.
Starting September this tour will be in Dutch theaters!

Vito Brothers presents  MILES! featuring Ntjam Rosie.

The new program of The Vitobrothers is Miles! This program will take you on an adventurous trip through the restless and creative brain of a genius in the golden age of jazz, and in times of great changes. The assassination of president Kennedy, the first steps on the moon. Based on portraits an image is created of someone who was called ‘The Picasso Of Jazz’. Miles! a magical musical adventure full of passion! Starting October 2015 in theaters.

 

This September Nueva Manteca will release a new CD and DVD of the theater program ‘Crime’.

Nueva Manteca lately recorded a concert in theater De Kloostertuin in Woerden. In this show they transformed the music of famous crime and gangster films into Afro Cuban Jazz. The name of the cd and dvd will be Crime. Surprising arrangements of familiar music.

In April Tango Extremo will presents a new project ‘The Matthew Passion’.

This whole month of January our group has been terribly busy with arranging and writing for this spectacular program. During these shows we will be working together with singer Pearl Jozefzoon and theatre-maker Jan Rot. We can already assure you: it will be magic. It was a huge challenge for us all to arrange this incredible work by Johan S. Bach for this line-up, but the result is already really impressive. In the agenda on this website you can find the details of the 13 Matthew shows that we will play in between April 8 and 20. If you won’t be able to come to one of them this year, please make sure to scroll down in that same agenda: you will find an enormous list of Matthew shows that are already booked for 2015.
