Nueva Manteca presents a new program.

Nueva  Manteca has made a new  progam what is  called  “Crime”.  Music of famous crime and ganster movies in Afro Cuban style.  In September they will start a serie of concerts in the theatres in The Netherlands.

During the month of May, Nueva Manteca will perform in the following theatres and festivals:

07.05 Theater Cuijk – Cuijk
10.05 Theater De Schalm – Veldhoven
17.05 Jazz in Duketown – Den Bosch
24.05 Meerjazz – Hoofddorp
25.05 Lantaren Venster – Rotterdam
26.05 Schelde Jazzfestival – Terneuzen
31.05 Cutting Edge Jazzfestival – Den Haag

Tango Extremo starts a new project, called ’Russia’.

Classical masterpieces and Russian folclore will be transformed in an exciting way into typical Tango Extremo music. The group will be touring the  Dutch theaters and in autumn, Tango Extremo is  also going to do do some concerts in Russia. These concerts will be in Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Jekaterinenburg, Tomsk and Moscow.

 

In the week of the 19th till the 26th of februari Ben van den Dungen and Peter Beets are going to Korea to give some concerts at the Yongsan Art Hall – Seoul, Pyeongchon Art Hall -Anyang-si and Busan Cultural Center in Busan.

Ben van den Dungen’s new quartet will be playing some concerts this week. They are at the following venues: 26-1 Est Est Est – The Hague,
27-1 Haarlemse Jazzclub – Haarlem, 29-1: Dizzy Rotterdam.
Ben’s group consists out of: Miguel Rodriguez – piano, Marius Beets – bass, Gijs Dijkhuizen – drums
