The Ben van den Dungen Quartet is going to record a live album!
In may the group will play a whole week at The Cafe Central in Madrid. During that week the quartet will record the new album ‘A Night At The Club’. The album will be released in September.
The new album of Tango Extremo is out now.
‘Dama de Blanco’ is the title of the new cd by Tango Extremo. On this album you can find unique arrangements of famous compositions like the 2e pianoconcerto by Rachmaninoff and the legendary Peter and The Wolf by Prokofiev. The line up of the new group consists out of: Tanya Schaap on violin, Ben van den Dungen on soprano saxophone, Rob van Kreeveld on piano, Oleg Fateev on bayan and Marc van Rooij on the double bass. At the moment the group is touring with a new show, ‘Maestros’, through the theatres in The Netherlands.

The new album of Nueva manteca is out now.
LIVE! is the titel of the new cd of Nueva Manteca. LIVE! is is double CD with a recent live recording of a concert in BIMhuis in Amsterdam and a 20 years old radio live recording. In the next coming months the group will do a promotion tour in The Netherlands.
