I’m A Soulman
In november 2016 Legends of Music will start the tour of the new show “I’m a Soulman”.
I’m a Soulman is a new exciting soulshow based on the remarkable story of the legendary record label STAX.
In 1958, just when the United States were experiencing racial uproars, a write brother and sister decided to start a record label for black artists.
Within no time STAX grew to one big family of successful like-minded artists like Otis Redding, Sam & Dave and Booker T. & the M.G.’s who all made their way to world fame.
During the show we will take you back to the world famous STAX recording studio where singers Steffen Morrison (The Voice of Holland) and Joy Wielkens, together with the best R&B band of the Netherlands, will give you that true sixties-feeling by playing hits like “Dock of the bay”, “Knock on wood”, and of course “I’m a Soulman”.

Swingin’ Harlem
After the huge success of their first show, New York Round Midnight proudly presents their new show: Swingin’ Harlem.
In the middle of the Prohibition, when the United States had a lot of problems to deal with, people who wanted to escape the harsh reality knew there was only one place to do so: Swingin’ Harlem.
Cause, it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing…
In Swingin’ Harlem the audience will be guided through the nightlife of Harlem. We follow the story of Jack, an experienced private detective who accepted a new case that leads him to the Savoy Ballroom, the Cotton Club, the Apollo Theatre and the Harlem Opera House. Somewhere in these famous nightclubs he hopes to find what he is looking for. Will he succeed in his quest? “One thing I like about jazz, kid, is that I don’t know what’s going to happen next. Do you?”
Swingin’ Harlem will bring you an evening full of swingin’ live music. The cast of New York Round Midnight will take you with them and give you the feeling that you are in the Harlem of the old days.

For their upcoming theater programme, Tango Extremo comes with a brand new program: Club Vaudeville!
For their eighth(!) production, Tango Extremo dives into a musical rollercoaster of the ’20s and ’30s. In prewar Berlin and Paris, jazz, folklore and classical music made the perfect fusion of variety and amusement. All summed up, this new theater program of Tango Extremo came to life. Tango Extremo presents: Club Vaudeville. There, where night owl’s and outrageous’ met.
