Ben van den Dungen’s new quartet will be playing some concerts this week. They are at the following venues: 26-1 Est Est Est – The Hague,
27-1 Haarlemse Jazzclub – Haarlem, 29-1: Dizzy Rotterdam.
Ben’s group consists out of: Miguel Rodriguez – piano, Marius Beets – bass, Gijs Dijkhuizen – drums

The Latin Jazz group Nueva Mantecawill be celebrating her 25th anniversary this year. Saturday 5th Januari 2013 Nueva manteca is giving a concert at the prestigious Bimhuis in Amsterdam. This concert will be recorded for the anniversary CD of Nueva Manteca. This album ‘ Aniversario ‘ will be released in the spring of 2013. Below you can see as an apetizer an old movie from the early nineties of a television program of the group.

TANGO EXTREMO IN SWITZERLAND
Between the 14th and 21st of December Tango Extremo will do some concerts in Switzerland.
The concerts will take place in the following cities: Ettlingen (D), Langnau, Davos, Bern and Zurich.

After years of playing as sidemen in all kind of bands Ben starts his own quartet.

The first album “Legitimate for women” will be recorded and releases in the beginning of 2013.
